Our Pricing Promise

Ranges reflect actual installed cost in Central & Southern NH and Northern/Eastern MA — including excavation, equipment, and startup.

No bait-and-switch. The number on your quote will be in range with what you see here, or we'll tell you exactly why it's different.

Site visits are free. We'd rather come look at your yard than give you a number over the phone that doesn't hold up.

Patio and coping pricing from American Landscape Construction is separate — we'll coordinate a combined quote on request.

Pricing Factors

What moves the number up or down

Two pools of the same type can have very different price tags. Here's what drives the difference in NH and MA.

🪨
Ledge & Site Conditions

Granite ledge is common in NH. If we hit it during excavation, blasting or extra removal adds cost. We assess this upfront so there are no surprises mid-project.

📐
Pool Size & Depth

Larger pools, deeper pools, and pools with multiple depth zones require more excavation, more material, and larger equipment. A 12x24 and a 20x40 are very different projects.

🔌
Equipment Upgrades

Variable speed pumps, heat pumps, automation systems, LED lighting, and salt systems all add cost — but also add value and reduce long-term operating expenses.

💧
Water Features

Waterfalls, fountains, deck jets, and spillovers add beauty and complexity. Each feature requires additional plumbing and pump capacity.

🚧
Access & Slope

Equipment needs to get into your yard. Tight access, steep slopes, or long distances from the street add time and equipment cost to the excavation phase.

🏗️
Patio & Coping

The pool price doesn't include the surround. Coping and patio through American Landscape Construction are quoted separately — but we coordinate both so you get one cohesive project.

📋
Permits & Engineering

Town permits are required for all inground pools in NH and MA. Fees vary by town. We pull the permits and handle the inspections — that cost is included in your quote.

📅
Season & Timing

Spring bookings fill fastest. Starting your project in fall or scheduling well in advance can sometimes create flexibility. Call us to discuss your timeline.

Why NH pool prices are what they are

We get asked why pool costs in New England run higher than what people see quoted online from warmer-climate states. The answer is simple: our conditions are harder. Frost lines, ledge, freeze-thaw ground movement, short seasons, and strict local permitting all add legitimate cost to every project. We don't inflate prices — we build for the climate you actually live in.

❄️

Frost depth: NH frost lines go 4–5 feet deep. All plumbing must be below frost or fully drainable. This is non-negotiable.

🪨

Granite ledge: Common throughout Central and Southern NH. We assess before we dig, so you know upfront.

📋

Town permitting: NH towns take pool permits seriously. We handle the process start to finish.

📅

Short season: NH swim season runs June–September. We maximize every available installation week to hit your target opening.

Common Questions

Pricing FAQ

No — pool pricing and patio/coping pricing are separate. The pool price covers everything from excavation through water fill. Your patio, coping, deck, and landscaping are quoted separately through American Landscape Construction. We coordinate both so you get one seamless project, but the two scopes are priced independently.
Patio and coping through American Landscape Construction typically ranges from $15,000 to $60,000+ depending on size, material, and design complexity. Pavers, flagstone, concrete, and natural stone all have different price points. ALC will give you a separate detailed quote.
Yes. We work with several financing partners for pool projects. Terms depend on the project scope and your qualifications. Ask us about financing options when you request your quote and we'll walk you through what's available.
They reflect real NH and MA installed costs based on actual recent projects. Your exact price depends on site conditions, pool size, equipment choices, and features. We publish these ranges because we believe you should have real information before investing time in a conversation — not bait numbers designed to get you in the door.
Typically: a deposit at contract signing, a progress payment at excavation or shell delivery, and a final payment at project completion. Exact terms are detailed in your contract. We never ask for more than a reasonable deposit upfront.
We can give you a rough range based on what you describe, but we genuinely can't give you an accurate number without seeing your yard. Site conditions — especially in NH where ledge and access are factors — can meaningfully change the cost. A free site visit takes about an hour and gives you a real number. That's always the better path.
